The concept of Rewatchable.com is simple. Rather than rate movies and DVDs based upon how good they are with some four- or five-star system, I tell you how much you will want to watch and rewatch them by classifying them into one of seven categories. Hopefully this will help you know which movies you should buy, rent, and visit the cineplex to see, as well as remind you of those flicks you may have forgotten about watching all those years ago. What the Ratings Mean
Infinitely Rewatchable: No matter who you are, where you live, or what you like, these are the films that unite us, the reasons we all love movies so much; buy a copy for yourself, for your family, for your friends, even for people that don't yet have DVD players so that they have a reason to buy one.
Compulsively Rewatchable: Leave the DVD player on repeat, 'cuz these never get old; unavoidably worth owning.
Frequently Rewatchable: It would take a lot to tire of rewatching these flicks; worth owning whoever you are.
Rewatchable: You'll enjoy these more than a few times; worth owning for those that like growing their movie collection.
Rarely Rewatchable: Worth watching if it's ever on TV years after you saw it the first time; rent it if you must.
Watchable: Worth watching one time, but it's not a film you'll want to see again, like ever, even if it is well done.
Unwatchable: Not even worth watching the first time, let alone rewatching.
* This list will undoubtedly change as we enter into November and December. Other movies that could very well shake things up include Babel, The Fountain, Apocalypto, Children of Men, Pan's Labyrinth, Zodiac, and hopefully, Borat! Please also note that these are not the 10 most rewatchable, but simply what I think are the 10 best.
